What is the Schroth Method?
The Schroth Method is a nonsurgical option for the treatment of Scoliosis and Hyper-kyphosis.
The goal of the Schroth Method is to teach patients to improve their spinal shape through three-dimensional principles of correction.

Both Scoliosis and Hyper-kyphosis have components of postural flexibility that can be improved by altering the forces that act on the spine.

Individualized, curve-specific corrective exercises are taught and repetitively practiced in multiple positions to challenge the body to combat the forces of the spinal deformity. As a result, the curve progression can be better controlled, pain and aesthetics can be improved and patients are motivated to become more active in managing their spinal conditions across a lifespan.
